SPRINGFIELD, MASS. — The Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame announced the field of teams and schedule for the 2025 Army National Guard Hoophall Classic, presented by Spalding, an annual basketball showcase now in its 23rd year. Games will be played at Blake Arena from January 16-20, 2025, at Springfield College, the Birthplace of Basketball.

The nation’s premier basketball event will once again showcase the country’s elite high school basketball teams. In addition to local participants, the tournament will feature teams from 18 states (Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Utah, Virginia) and Washington, D.C.

“We look forward to welcoming the nation’s top prep and high school programs back to the Birthplace of Basketball for the 23rd year,” said John L. Doleva, President and CEO of the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame. “This year’s showcase boasts one of the most talented lineups we’ve ever seen, featuring 33 of the top 100 boys in ESPN’s Class of 2025 rankings and 19 of the Top 60 from the Class of 2026. We’re deeply grateful for the ongoing support from fans, our partners at the Army National Guard and Spalding, our excellent hosts at Springfield College, and all of our participating sponsors.”

Marquee boys matchups include Montverde Academy (FL) vs. Oak Hill Academy (VA), Grayson High School (GA) vs. Sierra Canyon School (CA), LaLumiere School (IN) vs. Wasatch Academy (UT), Long Island Lutheran (NY) vs. Arizona Compass Prep (AZ), Montverde Academy (FL) vs. Utah Prep (UT), and Christopher Columbus High School (FL) vs. Perry High School (AZ).

The tournament will feature seven women’s games this year, including two nationally televised games featuring Long Island Lutheran (NY) vs. IMG Academy (FL) and Etiwanda High School (CA) vs. Incarnate Word (MO). Ten of the Class of 2025’s HoopGurlz WESPN Top 100 recruits will be featured, as well as 10 from the Class of 2026’s Super 60 and one from the Class of 2027’s Terrific 25 and multiple nationally ranked teams.
