Five Direct-Elect Members Announced for the Class of 2015 by the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame

Feb 14, 2015 - The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame announced today the first five members of the Class of 2015. These specific categories were directly elected by distinguished committees focused on preserving all areas from the game of basketball. These Direct-Elects include Louie Dampier voted in from the American Basketball Association (ABA) Committee, Lindsay Gaze from the International Committee, Tom Heinsohn from the Veterans Committee, John Isaacs from the Early African American Pioneers Committee, and George Raveling from the Contributor Direct Election Committee.

Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Announces Basketball Clinics In Conjunction with Charity Golf Classic

Feb 12, 2015 - The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame announced today the details regarding the Hall of Fame Youth Clinics presented by Wendy’s that will be held at Immokalee and Community School of Naples on Monday, February 16th. The clinics are focused around creating awareness of the issues surrounding today’s youth, by inspiring and encouraging them through character education and positive messages beyond the basketball court.

New College Basketball Awards Show to Honor the Season’s Top Players April 10 on ESPN2

Feb 12, 2015 - ESPN will close out the 2014-15 college basketball season with a new one-hour awards show on Friday, April 10, at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN2. In coordination with the Los Angeles Athletic Club and Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame, the first-ever College Basketball Awards Presented by Wendy’s program will celebrate the season’s top players and moments with the live announcement of eight awards.
