Springfield, Mass. – The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame announced today that Zales Jewelers has been named the Official Ring Provider to the Basketball Hall of Fame for its 2016-18 Enshrinement Classes.

“We are very excited to partner with Zales to provide the official enshrinement ring for our inductees,” said John L. Dolvea, President and CEO of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. “The enshrinement ceremony is a special time for these legendary players and coaches to reflect on their careers, and the ring is a lasting symbol of their achievements. That’s why we were focused on finding a partner who shared in our passion for celebrating excellence and we found that in Zales.”

One exciting element of the new partnership will be a series of Hometown Celebrations for Hall of Famers, hosted by Zales, to commemorate their tremendous achievements and allow fans the opportunity to meet these legends of the game. A special exhibit featuring the Official Enshrinement Rings will also be on display at the Basketball Hall of Fame.

“We are thrilled to be the Official Ring Provider of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, and honored to be entrusted with this responsibility,” said George Murray, Chief Merchandising and Marketing Officer of Zales Jewelers. “The new rings for the Hall of Fame Enshrinement Class of 2016 will reflect the attention to detail and craftsmanship that guests have come to expect from Zales. They will commemorate the special, shared distinction these men and women have earned while also celebrating their unique careers and achievements.”

The Hall of Fame Class of 2016 inductees will be announced at the NCAA Men’s Final Four in Houston in April 2016. The prestigious Enshrinement Ceremony will take place Friday, September 9, 2016 at Springfield Symphony Hall. For Enshrinement details and ticket information, visit www.hoophall.com
