SPRINGFIELD, MA – The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame announced today the record-setting attendance number of 18,308 for the 2016 Tip-Off Tournament at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut. Over 9,000 fans filled the sold-out venue each day to watch a field of teams that included three nationally ranked programs, Duke (AP Poll #1), Rhode Island (AP Poll #21) and Cincinnati (AP Poll #24), Games were nationally televised by ESPN.

Tickets for the 2017 Basketball Hall of Fame Tip-Off Tournament will go on sale in September 2017.
