SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — In its second year as presenting sponsor of the annual Spalding Hoophall Classic, Eastbay presents the highly touted All-Showcase Team, celebrating the top five performers at the 2020 national showcase, regardless of position.
The student-athletes named to the Eastbay All-Showcase Team listed in order of votes received Include: Jalen Green (Prolific Prep, CA), Cade Cunningham (Montverde Academy, FL ), K.D. Johnson (Hargrave Military Academy, NH ), Brandon Boston Jr. (Sierra Canyon School, CA ) and Hunter Dickinson (DeMatha Catholic High School, MD).
Green led Prolific Prep to a win versus La Lumiere with 26 points, five rebounds and five assists. Cunningham averaged 18 points and five assists in his team’s victories over IMG Academy and McEachern. Johnson scored the most points in a single game with 35 in a win versus Orangeville Prep. Boston entertained two sellout crowds with highlight dunks while averaging 18.5 points, five rebounds and six assists for Sierra Canyon. Dickinson and DeMatha Catholic walked away with victories versus Simeon and Rancho Christian in which he averaged 21.5 points, seven rebounds, three assists and three blocks.
With more than 50 teams featured in Springfield, Mass., the Birthplace of Basketball, the Eastbay All-Showcase Team was decided by industry-leading media partners attending and reporting on the event, based on the players’ performance during the 2020 Spalding Hoophall Classic Presented by Eastbay.
In addition to the Eastbay All-Showcase Team, the athletic performance retailer also celebrated the Player of the Game Award Presented by Eastbay for each of the 30 matchups. A complete list of recognized student-athletes as selected by the Basketball Hall of Fame committee is below.
