SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame announced today the launch of its new Legends Podcast series which will give listeners an in-depth look into the greatest basketball stars of the past, present and future. With a focus on Hall of Famers, fans will hear the greatest stories told by the legends that lived them. In addition to Hall of Famers, the podcast will feature stories from past legends, current stars, coaches, media personalities and other basketball personalities.
“Our mission here at the Hall is to promote and preserve the game of basketball at every level,” said John Doleva, President and CEO of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. “Through the Legends Podcast, fans will have the opportunity to learn the game’s history from the people who lived it. With over 50 legends of the game committed to participate, basketball fans will not want to miss these firsthand accounts of the game’s greatest stories.”
The first podcast will feature former NBA Commissioner David Stern and will be available Wednesday, August 2nd at noon ET. Additional podcasts will be released every Wednesday at noon and are available via Soundcloud, iTunes, Google Play and Stitcher.
