Basketball Hall of Fame Announces Physics in a Box as Title Partner of Inaugural Hoophall South Event

Dec 21, 2021 - Springfield, Mass. (Dec. 21, 2021) – The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame announced Physics in a Box has been named the title partner for the inaugural Hoophall South high school basketball showcase in Bentonville, Arkansas, from January 6-8, 2022. The event, which will be operated by longtime partner Position Sports, is one of three new regional concepts this season that will build to the 20th annual Spalding Hoophall Classic presented by Eastbay at Springfield College from January 13-17, 2022.

Bleacher Report to Exclusively Livestream Newly Formed Regional High School Hoophall Events

Dec 16, 2021 - Springfield, Mass. – The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame today announced that Bleacher Report will livestream its three newly formed regional Hoophall Events - Hoophall Central in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Hoophall East in Lewes, Delaware, and Hoophall South in Bentonville, Arkansas. As part of the agreement, Bleacher Report will live stream each of the participating games and will gather and create behind-the-scenes content that can only be found on the B/R app, website and across its B/R Hoops social channel.

Basketball Hall of Fame Announces Remaining Schedule for Hoophall East

Nov 08, 2021 - Springfield, Mass. – The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame today announced the remaining schedule for Hoophall East presented by SoDel Concepts, and now has full schedules for each of its regional events, including Hoophall West, Hoophall Central presented by Sanford Health and Hoophall South presented by Walmart. In addition, tickets for each regional event are on sale today, November 8 at https://www.hoophall.com/events/hoophall-regional-events.

Basketball Hall of Fame, WBCA Name Twenty Centers to Watch List for 2022 Lisa Leslie Award

Oct 29, 2021 - Springfield, Mass. — The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame and the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association announced today the 20 watch list candidates for the 2022 Lisa Leslie Award. Named after the three-time All-American,1994 National Player of the Year and Class of 2015 Hall of Famer, the annual award in its fifth year recognizes the top centers in women’s NCAA Division I college basketball. A national committee of top college basketball personnel determined the watch list of 20 candidates.
