Paul Endacott
A tenacious defender, Paul Endacott was a two-time All-Missouri Valley Conference selection at the University of Kansas. Under Hall of Fame coach Phog Allen, Endacott led the team to a 17-1 overall record, the 1922 and 1923 national titles, and the first-ever Missouri Valley Conference undefeated record (16-0). Captain of the basketball team in his senior year, Endacott earned Helms Foundation Player of the Year honors. Eventually his jersey was retired at Kansas and still hangs from the rafters in Allen Fieldhouse. For his outstanding play as a collegian, Endacott was named to the Associated Press All-Time All-American Second Team and the legendary Phog Allen's National All-Time College Team. After graduating from Kansas, Endacott played Amateur Athletic Union basketball for five seasons with the Phillips 66 Oilers.
