Jody Conradt

Jody Conradt arrived at the University of Texas in 1976 and quickly established the Longhorns as an unstoppable force on the national scene. Conradt’s coaching passion and competitive instincts produced results. Creating a model collegiate program that several other schools have tried to emulate, but few have managed to duplicate, she led her teams to over 900 wins and an undefeated 34-0 national championship in 1986. At the time of her enshrinement, Conradt had been named National Coach of the Year and Southwest Conference Coach of the Year numerous times. Conradt’s string of 20-win seasons and consecutive NCAA tournament appearances ranks among the best in women’s college basketball history. During her illustrious career, Conradt has coached countless players who have been Olympians, earned All-America honors, and National Player of the Year acclaim. More than two dozen of Conradt’s former players have gone on to play professionally.
